Product Specs

Postcards are digitally printed on high-quality 12.4 pt, 120 lb. coverstock paper and are available in either a gloss or matte coated finish. The finished size for each of your postcards will be (h x w) 4.00" x 5.625"

Artwork

Artwork Guidelines

Vector-based file types will print best, such as .eps or .ai (Adobe Illustrator) — with fonts converted to outlines. We can also print high resolution .pdf or .jpg files. If you are unsure of the quality of your files, our professional graphic designers will be more than happy to help you.

Color Match Proof System

If your project is color critical, we recommend using our Color Match Proof System, as this is the best way to ensure the color match for your postcards. For more details, please contact a customer service representative.

We provide flexible production time ranges for you to choose from. Because it's important for you to have ultimate control over your order, our production times range from one to five business days. This allows you to make the final decision on when you need your order.

1 Business Day Priority:

Timelines can be tight. That's why we offer this zippy one day turnaround option.

Payment

All postcards must be paid for prior to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept checks, which must be received before your order is put into production. For more information on check orders, see this article on our blog..

We will not charge your credit card until you have approved your order.

Shipping

General Shipping Guidelines

If you have any questions about shipping, please contact customer service at (320) 391-5300 prior to ordering. Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, your order will be shipped via UPS Ground. We offer a 1–3 day ground shipment to 90% of the United States.

You will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.

Shipping prices are determined by the weight and destination of the package. Additional shipping charges apply to large orders.

After products have been shipped, all shipping company terms and conditions apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the business card cost if UPS or any other shipping company has a delay in your package.

Delays due to natural disasters or anything beyond our control will not result in shipping refunds. If the product is damaged in shipping, damaged goods must be returned, and then a replacement product will be sent.

Lost packages will be replaced after the shipping company confirms loss. This generally takes 7–10 business days after initial scheduled delivery.

Banners.com ships throughout the United States and Internationally. Please note: all international shipments must have shipping labels as well as customs documentation provided by the customers. We will only accept international shipping labels from the following carriers, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Contact a customer service rep today for more information.

Economy Shipping If choosing economy shipping please add in additional postal information such as P.O. Box in the "Address Two" field on the checkout page to help ensure delivery. Using economy shipping can also add an additional 5 - 10 days, depending on where the package is being shipped to.

Q: What is the difference between a matte and gloss finish?

A: The matte finishing gives a high-end, classic look to your postcard. It provides a smooth service and rich, full colors. Bright and shiny is the name of the game when you choose the gloss finish. Perfect for adding a little extra flare to your custom postcard.

Q: How thick is the postcard?

A: Postcard thickness is usually measured in "points," The higher the number equates to the thicker the paper. Our postcards are printed on a 12.4 pt. cover stock.

Q: How do I design my postcard?

A: The typical layout for postcards is a horizontal layout. You can upload your pre-made design and let us take it from there.

Q: What information should I include on my postcards?

A: It all depends on who you are sending it to. If you are a business sending a promotional postcard or a thank you postcard we recommend you start with the basic information: business name, phone number, website, etc. You may also want to include yoru company logo, tagline, or mascot as well and use colors that correlate with your brand.

If you are sending out postcards to a friends or family, we recommoned, you first and last name, phone number, and any other personal messages you want to include. You can also include photos and images to add an even more custom touch.
