Material

Styrene Material

Styrene signs are printed on a 0.03" or 0.06" thick PVC plastic sheet. 0.03" Styrene is very flexible and can be rolled and packed in a tube for storage or shipping. 0.006" Styrene is more rigid thus cannot be rolled for shipping. We recommend using styrene indoors, but technically you can use them indoors and outdoors. While this material does not have a laminate, we do use UV resistant ink. When properly installed and maintained, this UV resistant ink can withstand outdoor exposure for 3-5 years.

Sizing

The maximum print for styrene signs is a 4-foot by 8-foot sign.

All 0.06" Styrene signs over 32" x 48" or any sign where the H + W is 81 inches or greater are shipped via freight.

Artwork

Artwork Guidelines

Vector-based file types will print best, such as .eps or .ai (Adobe Illustrator) — with fonts converted to outlines. We can also print high resolution .pdf or .jpg files. If you are unsure of the quality of your files, our professional graphic designers will be more than happy to help you.

Artwork/Order Proofs

If you would like to double-check your order for correct information, requesting an order proof will allow you to do that. Your order proof will include a low-resolution image of your artwork, a summary of your order (including pricing), as well as your billing and shipping information. Please note that if you request a proof, we will not send your order into production until you have sent your approval.

Color Match Proof System

If your project is color critical, we recommend using our Color Match Proof System, as this is the best way to ensure the color match for your specific project. For more details, please contact a customer service representative.

Payment

All sintra signs must be paid for prior to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept checks, which must be received before your order is put into production. For more information on check orders, see this article on our blog..

We will not charge your credit card until you have approved your order.

Shipping

General Shipping Guidelines

If you have any questions about shipping, please contact customer service at (320) 391-5300 prior to ordering. Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, your order will be shipped via UPS Ground.

You will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.

Shipping prices are determined by the weight and destination of the package. Additional shipping charges apply to large orders.

After products have been shipped, all shipping company terms and conditions apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the banner cost if UPS or any other shipping company has a delay in your package.

Delays due to natural disasters or anything beyond our control will not result in shipping refunds. If the product is damaged in shipping, damaged goods must be returned, and then a replacement product will be sent.

Lost packages will be replaced after the shipping company confirms loss. This generally takes 7–10 business days after initial scheduled delivery. Please visit our shipping information page for more information about our styrene sign shipping times.

International shipping Notes:

For international shipments, customers must provide both shipping labels and customs documentation. Currently, we only accept international shipping labels from USPS and UPS. For more details, please contact our customer service team.

Economy Shipping

If choosing economy shipping please add in additional postal information such as P.O. Box in the "Address Two" field on the checkout page to help ensure delivery.

Using economy shipping can also add an additional 5 - 10 days, depending on where the package is being shipped to.

What are styrene Signs?

Styrene signs are small, thin and durable signs used for indoor and outdoor advertising. They are printed on a 0.03" or 0.06" thick PVC plastic sheet. Our 0.03" Styrene is very flexible and can be rolled up and packed in a tube for storage or shipping. Our 0.006" Styrene is more rigid, so it cannot be rolled up for storage or shipping.

Styrene signs are best stored in a dry, temperate location. If your signs are printed double sided, then be sure to cover both sides with a protective cloth to prevent potential scratches.

Styrene can be used indoors or outdoors, but we recommend using them indoors as the material does not have a laminate and the ink may fade outdoors.
